On Friday 4/1/05 there will be an opening panel on the topic of "linking struggles", i.e. making connections between Palestine work and other anti-oppression work. This will be at Zeightgeist Multidiciplanary Arts Center.
On Saturday, Workshops will be held at UNO in the Mathematics building and in adjacent buildings.

DESCRIPTION:

On April 1-2, join the US Campaign and New Orleans, Louisiana Palestine Solidarity (NOLAPS) for a weekend conference of strategizing, networking, and skills-building workshops to end US support for Israel's military occupation. This will be a great opportunity for activists to strategize with people from other states in the region.
Workshop topics will include grassroots organizing, fundraising and media work.
Panel topics will include the right of return, religious coallition building and linking the palestine struggle with other struggles against oppression.

The friday night event is by donation, the saturday conference has a Registration fee of $20, scholarships are available for students and those unable to pay.
