The revitalization of public services is essential to making the right of return a reality for all Katrina survivors. The people of post-Katrina New Orleans need, more than ever before, public housing, public healthcare, public education and public transportation. Unfortunately, the greed driven authorities now in charge of government at all levels in this country are using the devastation ignited by Hurricane Katrina as a pretext to mount an all out offensive against public services in the Crescent City. If this ruling class offensive against local Katrina survivors goes unchallenged, thousands of New Orleanians will be forced into an early grave and hundreds of thousands of residents will be condemned to permanent exile. Preventing this bleek scenario from becoming a reality requires the forging of a mass movement that settles for nothing less than the revitalization of local public services to the levels needed by the people.

If you support public housing, public healthcare, public education and public transportation then you need to be at this meeting.

Say no to savage capitalism!
