The Industrial Workers of the World

From the beginning the IWW showed a unique committment to a true form of democratic unionism.
As expressed in the preamble to the IWW Constitution.

As stong as their committment to direct action was the
committment to disregarding false divisions of laborers.
Not only were men and women of color allowed membership,
but are a rich and integral part of Wobbly history and leadership from the start in 1905.

The IWW, a truly democratic union from year one, is currently celebrating it's 100th year.

This meeting is open to members current and past as well as those interested in membership.
