Help rebuilt New Orleans… with zines. Hi, People have written me and asked me, how they can help out with the zine library in New Orleans. Here are two suggestions I have. The first I am having a Mardi Gras paraded on bikes. The throws will be grab bags of zines. If you do a zine and would liked to participated in this? I am asking if you could donate 30 or less of your zine you do? The second, I have acquired more space at the zine library for more donations. If you’re interested in donating zines you have obtain and would liked to see your zines in a zine library. The zine library accepts zines, political magazines, political newspapers, political newsletters and political pamphlets. If you’re wondering I do take much care or the zines. They are just not thrown on the ground and say lets see if I can find a zine I might liked in this stack. Every zine donation goes into a plastic seal bag and it’s put on a bookshelf. Every zine is catalog and I go to great lengths to preserve the zine collection at the zine library. The zine library barley made it dry from that storm. Next time if there is a storm treating New Orleans. I will bring the zine collection some floors up as I did last time when the storm hit. You can send as many zines you want to Quickdummies // 107 East Lakeshore Drive // Carriere, MS 39426. The library can’t pay for shipping of your zines and I am sorry about that. We only have funds for supplies towards the library. Thank you very much for your donations. Remember to send the zines media mail so you can get a discount. The library only happen because of donations. Aboveground Zine Library opening and more on Saturday, February the 25th @), New Orleans at 12:00 am.
