We are here to change the world, but also to have fun- Expect songs, laughter, inspiring discussions and amazing stories!

The Rising Tide Spring Roadshow takes a popular education approach to organizing and agitating for climate justice, employing art, music, theatre, science, story-telling, bike culture, video, and more to foment life-affirming resistance. We are travelling the continent in a bus powered by recycled veggie oil, bringing the struggle for justice and sustainability to community centers and college campuses around the continent.

New Orleans has witnessed firsthand the damage and loss that results from climate change. We know that climate change is destructive and devastating. The question before us is: what are we going to do about it?

The Rising Tide Spring Roadshow is here to talk about the possibilities for action, which are as infinite and as diverse as all our combined ideas and desires. Two mutually-beneficial strategies that we will highlight on the roadshow are: sparking and supporting local struggles against fossil- fuel infrastructure, and building real, sustainable alternatives that foster community and decrease our dependence on the industries and institutions that are currently destroying the planet.
