DESCRIPTION:
|
Inviting teachers and educators from schools around the city, all systems, all grade levels....
WHAT: Come together to find out how things are going at other schools, share stories and information with each other, think about ways to collaborate across schools...and just spend time together as teachers.
WHERE: Parkview Bakery and Tavern, (538 Hagan Ave., near Bayou St. John in MidCity)
WHEN: Thursday, November 1st, 5:00 -- 7:00
WHY: Concerned Educators of New Orleans (CENO) wants to build a community of teachers who are concerned with issues of equity and access across the city's school systems. That starts with getting to know each other. (Plus, it is rumored that Parkview Bakery has the best Po Boys in the city....)
HOW: Spread the word. Share this invitation with teachers and educators at your school and with teachers and educators from other schools. Then come!
