STOP DOZING AND
STOP THE BULLDOZERS

END THE RACIST WAR IN IRAQ
AND AT HOME!

EMERGENCY CITY WIDE MEETING TO STOP DEMOLITION OF PUBLIC HOUSING.
PASS SENATE BILL 1668 NOW!!

Despite the desperate need for affordable housing in New Orleans, the federal courts have given a green light to the Bush administration’s demolition plan for some 5,000 viable public housing apartments in New Orleans. Despite the desperate need in the city for public housing, which is in better shape than most of the private hosing stock, the Bush administration’s Dept. of Housing and Urban and Development, with full support from the Nagin administration, want to go ahead with this crime. The attack on public housing and other public services in New Orleans is just the flip side of the ruling class’s criminal aggression against Iraq. Just as we are building a movement that can stop them in Iraq, and we have to build one to stop their crimes at home. All anti-war activists are invited to a critical city wide meeting to help stop demolition, and pass Senate Bill 1668 that would reopen public housing, but which is now being blocked by war-mongering Senator David ‘family values’ Vitter.
