Come celebrate that uniquely New Orleans vegetable -- the Mirliton - in the traditional New Orleans way: eating, drinking and listening to some of the finest local music New Orleans has to offer:
Morning 40 Federation, Big Sam's Funky Nation, Happy Talk Band, Washboard Chaz Trio and Zydepunks.
Delicious food from Elizabeth's, The Joint, Karma Kitchen and others will be featured, with libations from Bacchanal and of course a beer tent!
The Bywater Art Market will showcase some of Louisiana's most talented artists. Children's art activities, raffles and fun will round out the offerings. Commemorative t-shirts, mirliton cookbooks, mirliton bread and pralines will also be for sale.
