On Saturday, May 24, at 3PM United Teachers of New Orleans will be hosting a panel discussion of a new book released on charter schools in America as well as the role of charter schools in New Orleans’ educational landscape. Our panel of educators, parents and charter board members will discuss Rethinking Schools new book Keeping the Promise: the debate over charter schools at Holy Angels Academy, 1110 Gallier Street at St. Claude in the Bywater neighborhood.
All educators, parents and concerned community members are encouraged to attend this vital discussion about the future of our schools.
