DESCRIPTION:

CPP Participants and Stakeholders-
The next CPP Collaborative Meeting will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept 23rd, at 6:00pm at 3500 Canal Street. We are moving forward with the project, and hope that many of you can attend and stay informed and active in this process.
There are several attachments to this email that are important to review before the Sept. 23rd meeting. The first is an agenda that outlines the major discussions we hope to have and decisions we hope to make. The second is a proposed timeline for the entire process of creating the CPP, which will be discussed further at the meeting. The third is a draft Vision and Mission statement that has been proposed, and needs discussed and hopefully ratified at the meeting. The fourth is the 2004 draft model for New Orleans.
We would like to stress the fact that an important decision is going to be made on the 23rd: we will be deciding whether or not to use the 2004 draft model for New Orleans as a starting point to build upon as we move forward. We hope that everyone has a chance to review the model, discuss it with the Action Teams, other participants, or with the stakeholders, and come to the meeting with a firm grasp on the pros and cons of using the 2004 model. It is also important to stress that using the 2004 draft model as a starting point will not affect our ability to change aspects of the model, it is merely being used as a template to build upon.
Once again, we hope that you can attend the Collaborative Meeting!
When: Tuesday, Sept 23rd Time: 6:00pm Where: 3500 Canal Street, 2nd floor
