Half of the people in the world live on a few dollars a week, despite our planet's vast resources and wealth.
And in the US, the richest country in the world, millions are without jobs or face layoffs and foreclosures.
The "free market" is just a code for a system that impoverishes the majority for the enrichment of a tiny handful.

Massive social spending to protect those most at risk in this disastrous economy is a good first step.
But we deserve better than a world of war for conquest, exploitation and oppression.
We need a democratic society, organized for the needs of people, not profit.

Join us in a discussing the fight for a socialist future. Another world is possible.
