Let President Obama Know During His Katrina Anniversary Visit That We Oppose The U.S. Government’s Coverup Of The BP Oil Spill.

Press Conference, Speakout During the President’s Visit.

President Obama’s visit to New Orleans on the Fifth Anniversary must no pass in silence on the Gulf Disaster because it is not over. Join fishers, environmentalists, and activists from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida to demand that the truth be told, the Gulf be cleaned up, and the people and environment protected. When Obama travels to New Orleans, fishers, environmentalists, Katrina Suvivors and activists will being saying loud and clear, “The oil disaster is not over. The waters are not safe. The full truth must come out.

The coverup must end. Scientists must be given full access to sites, information gathered and funding. Testing must be adequate. The Gulf must be cleaned up and restored. People’s health and livelihood must be protected.
