DESCRIPTION:
|
David Graeber, author of "Direct Action: an ethnography" and "Fragments of an Anarchist Anthropology," is coming to the Iron Rail as a detour from the American Anthropological Association Annual Meeting on Canal St. He participated in the New York chapters of Direct Action Network and Ya Basta! in the early 2000s. He is currently a reader (i.e. lecturer) in anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London.
The topics of conversation are TBD, most likely decided by whom comes out to participate.
