Stop the Dispersant! Stop the Use Of Corexit!
Rally at the Federal Building

It is our belief from numerous accounts that dispersant continues to be used in the Gulf of Mexico. This is harming the health of our people, and seriously damaging our wetlands and coastal environments. In addition, studies have shown that dispersant makes the oil more toxic to the environment and people.
We the People Demand the Following:
That the spraying of dispersants in the Gulf of Mexico is stopped immediately.
That dispersant spraying should be immediately banned from all waterways for any use, and in particular as a response to oil spills/disasters.
That the federal and state governments immediately provide medical assistance to all those who believe their health may have been impacted by the oil disaster.
That adequate and timely bioremediation be provided immediately for our coastal and wetland environments to mitigate and repair the damage of oil and dispersant use.
We demand that our Federal government begin immediately implementation of clean energy solutions, development and implementation.
To rally attendees: bring your poetry, your street theater, your art, your passion, your drive to protect and save the planet! Open mike. Bring banners and signs.
