Mobilize for July 4thFightback!!

"New Orleans is not going to be as black as it was for a long time, if ever
again"
HUD Secretary Alphonse Jackson Secretary, November 2005

"Rebuilding and revitalizing public housing isn't something that will be
done overnight.
Sadly, not all residents will be able to return home in the near future."
HUD Secretary Alphonse Jackson, June 13, 2006

Bush Regime Plans To Demolish Four Public Housing African American
Communities

Repairable Public Housing Demolished While FEMA Pushes Families Into the
Streets

On June 13th the Bush Administration issued a declaration of war on
public housing in New Orleans. The HUD proposal to "redevelop"
public housing would accomplish what Hurricane Katrina could not
do...destroy the lion's share, about 70%, of the city's existing public
housing stock. Such a development would, in effect, permanently exile
tens of thousands of Katrina survivors now stranded far from home.

This is a Crime Against Humanity! Lets Mobilize to Stop It!!

Convergence on New Orleans
