La Conquista: An Aztec Clown Drama Tuesday, November 9, 2004, 8pm Newcomb Quad This play is about the Aztecs, Cortez and La Malinche. This play is about violence-Spanish, Aztec, ours, yours. This is a play about hope in a hopeless situation; about the history we're making and the history we've made; about the meetings of modernity and mythology; nature and economy; and the very old conflict between the Gods of Life and the Gods of Death.
