This play is about the Aztecs, Cortez and La Malinche. This play is about violence-Spanish, Aztec, ours, yours. This is a play about hope in a hopeless situation; about the history we're making and the history we've made; about the meetings of modernity and mythology; nature and economy; and the very old conflict between the Gods of Life and the Gods of Death. This event is free and open to the public. There will be limited seating outside; blankets for ground seating are encouraged.
