anti-CAFTA protestors gathered outside Gallier Hall in New Orleans as CAFTA trade ministers and local businessmen filed past to attend a formal reception during the CAFTA negotiations.

S.W.I.N.E. (Super Wealthy Industrialists of the New Economy) cheered on the CAFTA negotiations with signs that read "Open Borders to Capital, not People" and "Keep the talks Secret"

and through a gauntlet of protestors, holding signs and chanting in english and spanish. an announcement was made for the delegates to "check their democracy at the door"
