Announcement of "The Green Kitchen", a periodic dinner event that benefits the work of The Greater New Orleans Green Party
You and your cause(s) are invited to the next Green Kitchen, planned for Sunday, November 30, from 5-6pm at 625 N. Rendon, between Toulouse & St. Peter, just blocks away from Bayou St. John in Mid-City, followed by Mike West, the "progressive hillbilly", from 6-7pm. Food is offered for minimal monies and goes to the ongoing work of The Greater New Orleans Green Party. Please send along any and all offers of support to this event to Steve at rylnwrld@yahoo.com or 482-2139. We could use subsidies of extra dishware, chairs and tables and such. Also, watch for info about a Green movie event for Sunday, December 14. Thanks to Julie Whitbeck and others for working to make these events happen.
Progressive political tabling is also offered to progressive causes at a "Vegan-Squirrel Thanksgiving", a musical feast from 3-7pm, with Mike West from 6-7pm, at Fair Grinds, next to Esplanade Whole Foods in Mid-City.
