Update on Clarkson recall effort

The next meeting is 7pm Wednesday at Flora's.
The Recall Clarkson Committee will have its third meeting this Wednesday, 12/17, at 7pm at Flora's coffeehouse, located at the corner of Royal and Franklin. All who are opposed to Councilwoman Jackie Clarkson's policies and interested in persuing the recall option are invited, including those who live outside District C. I would like to correct a mistake I made in my earlier post on this topic, which is available at:

I had said that the recall mechanism is provided by the New Orleans City Charter. It is actually in the Louisiana Elections Code. I'm sorry for the error and promise to be more careful about this kind of thing in the future.
