MALCOLM X, JENARD THOMAS, AND THE FIGHT AGAINST POLICE TERROR
On the 80th birthday of Malcolm X we Honor his life and legacy by demanding:
Justice for Jenard “Nordy” Thomas! Down with Racist Police Terror! Jail for killer-cops Scott Rodrigue and Joseph Waguespack Jr.
Public talk by Jerry and Annie Thomas, parents of Jenard 7PM Thursday, May 19 St Jude Community Center 400 N Rampart St
On March 24th Jenard Thomas became another victim of New Orleans cops. While his father watched in horror, this unarmed 25 year old African American father, student and graphic artist, was jumped and shot numerous times by cops Scott Rodrigue and Joseph Waguespack Jr. His parents, Annie and Jerry Thomas, are leading a courageous struggle to demand justice for their son, and all victims of police repression. Come to this important talk to learn the real truth, unmask the lies of the local press that cover-up for the cops, and help build a fight back. The struggle of the Thomases is the struggle of everyone fighting for justice in this city. Join us!!
