Barry Cowsill missing in New Orleans
by t-trek Monday, Sep. 26, 2005 at 8:16 PM

Barry Cowsill, singer/musician of a known 60s pop band was one of those left stranded in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina and his family is desperately seeking his whereabouts. They think they spotted him on CNN and believe him to be alive.

Today on CNN's smaller/sister station, only on a fashion/entertainment-type show insultingly enough, Barry's brother and sister appeared on the show in a plea to help locate him and bring him to the safety of his family.

Certain relatives of Barry spotted a clip on CNN of what they think could have been their brother. A recent photo of Barry was placed alongside the image of the man sitting on a sidewalk next to a bunch of what appeared to be luggage and belongings, including a guitarcase. Although the man was wearin a hat hiding his eyes, the man on the ground and the man in the photo resemble eachother incredibly enough to warrant Barry's family member's to come on television to alert people that they think they're brother remains alive and for anyone who may have seen him to contact his family.

They can be reached at http://www.cowsill.com

Barry has longish dark hair, may be wearing a fancy black fedora-style hat with metallic emblems on it, may or may not be shirtless, and wearing black slacks. He appears to be in his late 40s to mid 50s. He smokes cigarettes.

Please spread the word and keep your eyes open for Barry and contact his family should you see/hear anything about his whereabouts!
