Free computer classes at the Community Center of St Bernard
Free Computer Classes begin September 23
The Community Center of St Bernard, 1107 LeBeau St, Arabi, is currently offering free 5-week computer classes for local residents. Participants can choose between Tuesday evening or Thursday morning sessions. The Tuesday classes will be held from 5-6PM on September 23, 30 and October 7, 14 and 21, while the Thursday classes will meet from 10-11AM on September 25 and October 2, 9, 16 and 23.
The classes last for 1 hour each week, and no computer experience is needed. Topics covered include an introduction to Windows XP, Word Processing, and an introduction to the Internet. Each class is limited to 10 students and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. To sign up, please phone the Community Center at 504-281-2512.
